Community Partnerships
As a school we enjoy close links with businesses, charities and organisations within the surrounding Community. These partnerships help broaden the children's learning experiences and opportunities and help give them a wider perspective of the benefits of being part of a wider network.

Korean Students visit Willowbrook

On Tuesday 24th January, we welcomed students from South Korea to a
Junior Assembly. They demonstrated their excellent Taekwondo skills,
played music using traditional Korean instruments and acted out a play
based on the Bible. The children enjoyed the visit and maybe it will
encourage some of our pupils to try this new sport!
Look in the picture gallery to see more photographs of this assembly.

Class 7 Assembly

Parents and grandparents of children in Class 7 are warmly invited to join with us on Wednesday 1st February in the school hall for their class assembly. It will begin at 9.20am. We look forward to seeing you then!

Bobby Blue checks in on Willowbrook Primary

We had a special visitor to the school on Wednesday 18th January, as
Bobby Blue paid a visit to our school assembly. Bobby Blue and his two
friends PCSO's Rob Parry and Barry Simpson, reminded the children of the
importance of not talking to strangers and the Year 2 pupils have been
given special 'identity cards' with 3 important 'Do nots':
DO NOT speak to strangers
DO NOT accept sweets or gifts from strangers
DO NOT get a lift from strangers
Have a look in our albums for more pictures of this special visit.

Finance Minister, Jane Hutt visits Willowbrook
On Monday 9th January, we were delighted to welcome Jane Hutt to the
school,to meet the Breakfast Club team and children. The pupils enjoyed sharing with the Minister why they feel the Club is so important to them. Reasons given included the opportunity to meet with friends, to start the day with a good breakfast and one child simply said 'so that we can eat!' Their behaviour was excellent and the Breakfast Club team were justifiably proud of the pupils.
More photos are in our picture gallery.
